Hello this is my first visit.

I have searched the forums but have not found an answer to migrating to Proxmox from an existing system - Fedora 9 with KVM.

There is probably an easy way to do this. I wish to backup the entire system. Bare Metal install Proxmox and then restore into a VPS.

Thanks in advance for any help.

See http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Migration_of_servers_to_Proxmox_VE

So you need to backup your KVM guests somewhere and then move to Proxmox VE. (The existing Fedora with KVM cannot run on Proxmox VE (KVM in KVM is not possible)).

Please do not use the term VPS when you talk about KVM (VPS is used for containers) - see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/FAQ
