Hi,

I have proxmox version 3.4-13/4c745357, and I want to know if there is a way to stop/cancel a running backup job.

Also I noticed the config date of the scheduled job is not working, it just backup randomly any day.

Hi,

just open the task and click the stop button.

I have tried that but it doesn't stop. It just gives the error unexpected status. How do I quit the job without drastic measures like unmounting and rebooting nodes?

please open a new thread next time instead of reviving such an old one. Can you check if the backup process is in D state (with top or ps)? If it is, that means it's stuck in an I/O operation, so unmounting/rebooting might be the only option in that case. What kind of storages are you using? Anything interesting in /var/log/syslog?
