Did you read the log, and check the note that the system left?
restore failed: reading file "/mnt/datastore/DS04/.chunks/443f/443f9da97d89ec842ff7bd3b758deda4451000f4dfd2b680e51eb9af491a03b8" failed: No such file or directory (os error 2)
Did you (succesfully?) run verification of the backup?
When a verification of my backup failed, it said in the log something along the line of `failed hash, chunk d89ec8......2ff7bd3b758deda, moved to ...`
So:
If you check the location by hand, does the file exist?
Did you run verification on the backup? Was it successful?
We ran the verification check now but it failed. During the verification it shows the same error but there I can see multiples chunks not found.
Also when we searched the chunk mentioned in the log by hand it does not seems to exist.
I have 4 different backups of it but unable to restore any of them. Please help us recover the data without any data loss.
Unable to understand how did this happened when we have not even manually touched any of the backup files.
A couple of weeks ago I was in a similar situation, with the important difference (I think?) that in my case it was just a test, the live system was running without problem.
Maybe you could change the title of the thread to something like 'How to restore a backup with missing chunks', or 'How to recover missing chunks from a backup?' and attach the log of the verification. Hopefully someone with a good hint will come along.
