how to provide permission to API token?

hi, i generated API token, but this token don't have permissions, how to provide user permission to my API token?

Go up one node to click on Permissions iteself.
Add > API Key.
Fill it out. Make sure to select the / root and proagate checkbox.

I feel like the gui surrounding permissions could be revamped a bit. This isn't the most obvious flow, creating a token and then going somewhere else to set its permissions. At the least I'd like a redirect button or something that takes you to the permissions tab.

It looks a bit better in PBS. Have ya seen it? Horizontal tabs instead. The eye follows it better.
