I'm searching for a way to import EC2 AMIs, which are composed of VMDK files, into Proxmox, but I don't know how make it work. The AMI is being generated from AWS export/import tasks.

I have seen some tutorials on the internet, but they are referring to import a instance into Proxmox, not the image itself. When importing a machine, it comes with an .ovf/.ova file, which is useful and it makes the importing work, but, when exporting as AMI, it only comes with .vmdk files.

I have tried many ways, but got nothing working.

Any tips on how to do it? How to start?
