How to perform a full proxmox backup ?

I want to perform the full backup of the proxmox, that is, save all the settings I have already made in the proxmox and also all the vms, this way if my proxmox server becomes corrupt or the HD burns I can install another proxmox from scratch and use the full backup to restore all settings and vms. It is possible?

PVE and PMG Cluster config backup to PBS would be awesome indeed. But isn't this on the roadmap already? Or was it just mentioned by a PVE member?
