I need to migrate a machine full kvm

Take a dump in the Promox 1.9 and later with the command qmrestore the remade in Proxmox 2.1
But when trying to boot it fails to find the hard disk and is branded
Any idea how to export and import a machine Proxmox 1.9 to 2.1 Promox

From already thank you very much

The error occurs both when I try to start it from the web console or take the qm start 120 coman

here the log

Re: How to migrate KVM machine from proxmox 1.8 a to 2.X . failure to detect the hard

Upgrade path from 1.8 to 2.x is not supported. The right way, according to notes, seems to be 1.8 -> 1.9 -> 2.0 -> 2.1

Thanks for answer, the problem is that the disk is SCSI,
But I can not apply

Re: How to migrate KVM machine from proxmox 1.8 a to 2.X . failure to detect the hard

If you still have access to the 1.8 machine you can add a new IDE or virtio drive and then a clonezilla livecd to clone your SCSI disk to the new disk and then remove the SCSI disk and reboot. Once you're sure that the VM works you can backup and restore to Proxmox 2.0+ without issues. I found that easier after finding two VMs setup with SCSI disks by one of our admins.

Thank you very much for responding.
Could you tell me a link where I can learn how to clone a hard disk scsi to ide in Promox.(sorry for my request)

1 - Create a new ide disck with the same size as the disk scsi on kvm (from web console)

/var/lib/vz/images/120/vm-110-disk-1.raw (disk scsi)
/var/lib/vz/images/120/vm-110-disk-2.raw (new disk ide)

2 - Clone
dd if=/var/lib/vz/images/120/vm-110-disk-1.raw of=/var/lib/vz/images/120/vm-110-disk-2.raw

Is that the way to copy? or you can tell me (sorry for my request) some other way to clone from scsi to ide.

Re: How to migrate KVM machine from proxmox 1.8 a to 2.X . failure to detect the hard

I think that would work - since I've used Clonzilla (http://clonezilla.org/) for multicast cloning before and it was available - that's what I used for cloning. They have a livecd version which you can mount and boot to within the VM and then clone the scsi disk to the new ide disk. Then shutdown the vm and delete the scsi disk and unmount the livecd and reboot. Then you should be able to migrate the VM to Proxmox 2.0.
