Hi,
I installed CEPH and configured storage and then had some issues with it. I followed a number of threads on here to remove CEPH which worked really well and was able to reinstall but I've been left with some storage objects which I don't know how to get rid of. I expect they are in a conf file somewhere and I should be able to remove them. Any ideas?

Just to let you know the disks don't exist anymore as I cryptoerased them in my controller.

Hi,

If you are sure that Ceph has been fully removed, and if removal is not an option from the GUI, you can remove the entries from the file /etc/pve/storage.cfg to get rid of the ghost entries.

Thanks Dylan, I've tried to edit the storage file and it says permission denied. I also tried sudo.

Odd, I deleted a load of cluster based stuff as I want to start my cluster again and this was the only node left. After a reboot I was able to edit the storage.cfg and I have removed that value.
