I have 3 nodes that use their own subnet for ceph :

  • Node1 : 10.10.10.10
  • Node2 : 10.10.10.11
  • Node3 : 10.10.10.12
I would like now to put them in their own vlan. What would be the best way to do it with the minimum downtime and noise between nodes? Should I first stop the ceph node to be announced?

There may be service disruptions as the network configuration needs to be applied on the switch and host side. But depending on your Ceph setup, it may not impact VM/CT.
