Hey Guys,

so, we have enabled encryption on our PBS Storage. How is it possible to browse the Backups when encryption is enabled?

Thanks :)

only the client can access the content of encrypted backups, since the server does not have the key

for now you can only do this on the cli via 'proxmox-backup-client catalog shell' on the pve client
a better gui integration on the pve gui is planned

And you are able to use proxmox-backup-client map as well as proxmox-backup-client mount with encrypted backups in order to create a loopback device for VM disks or a fuse mount for LXC or host filesystems.
