How long you plan to support 1.9? Do you plan to integrate vzctl-3.0.30 (http://openvz.livejournal.com/39765.html )? May be you can stop support for < 2.6.32 to spend the time integrate the new vzctl? May the inegration will take only one hour.
Any plans or ideas for the development of 1.9 till 2.0?

1.9 is more or less feature freeze - just updates and fixes are provided (no end-of-live specified yet). we plan to get a stable 2.0 in Q1/2012. (vswap cannot be implemented in 1.9 as there are still some kernels with no vswap support)

well, vswap could be implemented if really needed, as you can check kernel version from userspace... but probably noone will want to invest time there, so that is the main problem :D

i do, however interested in EoL question as well - at least how long will kernel updates go to 1.9 version. It will be a big job for me to migrate to 2.0, as there are a lot of customizations i've made to scripts for implementing openvz HA (that will be probably incompatible with 2.0), and i will wait till 2.0 stable before starting upgrade planning.

its not decided yet. at the end its a question of resources. do you have active server subscriptions for your 1.9 boxes?

yes, i do have production servers with active customers on them - that's why i am not among the first adopters ov version 2.0 :)
