Hello,
I am a newbie. I have just started my Proxmox server on Firebat T8 Plus and connected it to my PC via Ethernet. The PC has access to the internet via wifi. I do not have access to the router as I am not at home at the moment. I just wanted to test and learn proxmox, launch Home Assistant etc. I got stuck at the step where I need to do an apt update because the minipc has no internet connection. Is there any way to make it work? I mean, can I share internet connection between my PC and minipc?

Thanks

Easier is Wi-Fi to RJ45 adapter :

You need to convince the laptop PC to act as a router for your PVE.

While I know that this works I can not tell you the details. Search for "Internet connection sharing" or "enable routing" for the Operating System you are using on the laptop PC ...
