if i remove all nodes and create new cluster, can is use https://elkano.org/blog/how-to-reset-cluster-configuration-in-proxmox-2/ for backup users files ... ?
No idea if that works on Proxmox 4 or not. Its a guide for Proxmox2 and i never used the guide nor the Version. It might work, it might not work. Can't help you there.
If i were in your shoes, it'd do the following based on the 7 Nodes you have present:
- Migrate your VM's away from 3 off those Nodes to the remaining 4 nodes.
- On those 3 Nodes you wipe the Old Cluster configs
- (or do a reinstall - which ever is faster for you)
- You then apply the new configuration to make sure you use your internal network.
- You then Create a new Cluster on these nodes.
- verify that the Cluster works as expected.
- Make backups of your VM's on the 4 Nodes in your "OLD Cluster"
- Restore those VM backups on your new Cluster.
- Make sure those VM's work properly before you proceed.
- Once all VM's are migrated off your OLD Cluster, wipe those nodes, make the appropriate changes and join them to your new Cluster.
The advantage is, that you are in control every step of the way.
