Passing my 9300-16i (it-mode) works as expected in both Windows and TrueNAS. When I attempt to add the pci passthrough for my Ubuntu VM, which works otherwise, it will not start. No console output, no green "play" icon, it just sits forever. I'm unable to press 'e' to get to any menu, as the console page sits at 'guest not running'. I have rombar set to off.
All my other bios settings seem correct, as I'm able to run the other VMs without issue.
Solved: I selected "local" has the HDD, but then on the next screen it reset back to use my HBA pool as the disk. Created new VM and selected the "local" HDD twice in the setup. Working now.
