Hello every one. I am having a hard time trying to figure out who to accomplish the following. I have there ESX Hosts. Each host has two NIC (eth0=10.10.30.0/24 | eth1=172.16.10.0/24); and then there is a network create inside the ESX(using vsphere client) for File-Server(4 VMs across the 3 ESX Host) that is 192.168.1.0/24 [As weird as it sound a file server in ESX1 can ping a file server in ESX2 using the 192.168.1.0/24]. Now I bring a Proxmox Server into the play. I have a proxmox server with two NIC Cards (eth0=10.10.30.0/24 | eth1=172.16.10.0/24); same setup as the ESX Hosts using the same switches and everything, but for some reason I cannot get to ping the network 192.168.1.0/24. Linux iossolution 2.6.35-1-pve Please advise what can I do to get Proxmox VMs to work with the File-Servers. Here it is my Proxmox network. # network interface settings auto lo iface lo inet loopback iface eth0 inet manual iface eth1 inet manual iface eth2 inet manual iface eth3 inet manual auto bond0 iface bond0 inet manual slaves eth0 eth1 bond_miimon 100 bond_mode active-backup auto bond1 iface bond1 inet manual slaves eth2 eth3 bond_miimon 100 bond_mode active-backup auto vmbr0 iface vmbr0 inet static address 10.10.30.37 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 10.10.30.1 bridge_ports bond0 bridge_stp off bridge_fd 0 auto vmbr1 iface vmbr1 inet static address 192.168.10.89 netmask 255.255.255.0 bridge_ports bond1 bridge_stp off bridge_fd 0 auto vmbr2 iface vmbr2 inet static address 192.168.1.60 netmask 255.255.255.0 bridge_ports none bridge_stp off bridge_fd 0 Please if you do not understand anything I said, please let me know.
