Graphs and Monitoring with Java

I found this really easy way of using Java to monitor server performance + have a historical data graphs.

Might be possible to include easily in Proxmox. I for one am looking forward for some graphs that would tell us the (historical) load of the server.

Hope they will avoid anything "java based", not only for the recent problems with Oracle, but because as far as I known java eats a lot of memory and resources

Quite true. However Proxmox all ready uses Java.

really? What packages?
dpkg -l | grep -i jre
rerturns nothing, and dpkg -l | grep -i java returns only a reference to a javascript library (libjs-prototype).

JavaScript is active: ok.

You also need Java to enter a VM.

Javascript is NOT java, they are two different languages and for two different purpouses.
You don't need java to enter a VM, you need on the client side a Java plugin in the browser to access the vnc session, so again no java on server side (proxmox)

AFAIK, 'atsar' is already installed by default (cli only).
