Got new network interfaces in windows guests after upgrade

Hi.

After upgrading server all of my windows guests got new network interface.
Will next upgrade cause same issues?
Or there any way to make vm preserve it's address on new nic?

when do you have upgraded ?
they was a change in pci slots in qemu upgrade some week ago, and proxmox had added a new machine config option in the vm, to keep on old machineconfig, to not break this. (and user can choose new machine config manually ).

so, if you have already do the change, it's ok, next upgrade will not break anymore.

Just today. Yeah, I got new qemu version.

Next time I’ll investigate upgrades more thoroughly.
