GBit Networkcard for W2K8sr2

Hi,

how can i use a GBit network card in windows 2008 server r2. if i use realteak, i have only 100 MBit. Can i change this to GBit or what i must do, to use GBit. Please help.

use virtio NIC.

thanks for information. What we must use for a driver. On Windows DVD the driver wasn´t found.

can't you read? Use virtio-drivers -> http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/virtio-win/latest/images/bin/

You can also use E1000 as the interface and get GB network. The VirtIO is the best I believe. I've used Iperf with both and didn't notice a speed difference.
