A bit curious as to why the "freeze/thaw" command is issued back to back - right before starting the backup. Is something not working correctly? This is a VM running in High Availability.

Thank in advance for any response....

the "started backup task.." log line is printed after the backup has started. freezing and thawing is part of starting the backup.

it's not:
- freeze
- thaw
- start backup

it's
- freeze
- start backup (this part doesn't print a log line!)
- thaw
- tell the user the backup has started successfully

- start backup (this part doesn't print a log line!)

thanks for the clarification, I appreciate i!
