sorry to tell this, but i think forum search is really annoying, as it will not allow phrase search for example.
you simply won't find things if you want to get into the details...
i'm using google more and more for proxmox forum search as a workaround.
any perspective that this gets enhanced ?
meanwhile, i found that there are noticeable/active alternative support boards/chats around ( https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/unofficial-proxmox-discord-server.108779/ , "supporforum" discord channel on prox-it for example feels similar active like german section here ) and there may be a reason why people using it...
did proxmox team ever think about enhancing/modernizing this forum or add some different tool?
what about an official proxmox zulip chat as an enhancement or even replacement ?
it combines the best of the "two worlds" of chat & forum ( see https://zulip.com/why-zulip ), it's entirely opensource and besides proxmox one of the coolest opensource projects i know.
you can install your own server ( https://chat.zulip.org/ , https://rust-lang.zulipchat.com/ or ...) or use the cloud version @zulipchat.com ( https://zulip.com/communities/ )
i like it a LOT.
