Format for Disk

Hi.
Once again a Newbie Question...

I create an new VM. So...for Disc-Format i can take Raw disk image (raw) or VMware image format (vmdk) or QEMU.
Is one the Best or the fastest Format?

At this time i use vmdk.

But i want know the right one.

raw is fast (as its no "format"), qcow2 is needed if you want to use live snapshots (new feature in 2.2).

don(t use vmdk, it's only exist for importing or test vmware image.
