Filesystem issue

Hi all,

a little question about filesystem of proxmox.
I have installed the iso of proxmox 3.4 on a server with a 128 GB SSD HDD and a external Storage.
After installation i get following partitions:

udev                   10M     0   10M   0% /dev
tmpfs                  51G  384K   51G   1% /run
/dev/mapper/pve-root   30G  867M   27G   4% /
tmpfs                 5.0M     0  5.0M   0% /run/lock
tmpfs                 101G   13M  101G   1% /run/shm
/dev/mapper/pve-data   59G   52M   59G   1% /var/lib/vz
/dev/fuse              30M   12K   30M   1% /etc/pve

Why tmpfs is very big and how can i configure root partition to 80 GB and data to max. 30 gb??

Hi,
tmpfs is no real filesystem!

to configure the space for root/data/swap see here: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Debugging_Installation#Boot_options

I have found this https://gist.github.com/dergachev/6828967 and use it after a installation. Works fine.
