Hello,
we are considering moving pbs to a raid-10 zpool using six 4-TB nvme disks.

i was searching threads on best file system type to use and saw concerns regarding zfs. however I can not see a more reliable way then raid-10 zfs.

does anyone have another idea to consider ?

Which concerns did you see in regard to ZFS? I would definitely agree that ZFS is the more reliable option

I believe using zfs nvme mirrors is an excellent idea, I have no concerns whatsoever regarding zfs on pbs hw.

You shouldn't run ZFS ontop of ZFS because of the high overhead. If you don't nest it and install PBS bare metal that shouldn't be a problem.
