Hi to all...
I don't know if my post here is in the best location, so please suggest me if I have to move this somewhere else.
I ran into the initiative Rosetta@home which is powered by BOINC and, with distibution computing, aims "to predict the structure of proteins important to the COVID-19 disease as well as to produce new, stable mini-proteins to be used as potential therapeutics".
As I have a Proxmox machine in our school, I decided to bring to the table some of our server resources.
I would share with people interested in my experience, hoping others may agree that with many littles we can do great.
I created ad I'm running now a VM starting from a BalenaOS image (https://foldforcovid.io/) ad with the help of other people (https://forums.balena.io/t/proxmox-or-iso-image/104192/2).
Being a normal teacher, I'm a complete beginner with Proxmox, so I can't give advice to anyone.
But I think this project may help humans around the world.
