Both. Actually, we are planning to connect SAN with FC protocol and also attach those LUN to VM by passthrough. It is possible in VMware and Hyper-V. But is it possible in Proxmox VE?Do you mean passing FC to VM or if Proxmox supports FC?
You can do it by disk passthrough (cli). https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Passthrough_Physical_Disk_to_Virtual_Machine_(VM). Since FC SAN devices usually have multiple paths, you have to configure multi path https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Multipath#Set_up_multipath-tools and then pass to vm this dm device. So it is possible, but no GUI, pure linux wayIs there anyone to help me by providing the information?
Not via the UI. QEMU claims support for it via NPIV, yet I could not get it to work when I tried it years ago, that may have changed.Does Proxmox VE support Fibre Channel SANs via HBA passthroughs?
