Hi, I've noticed that Fedora project has a new iso of virtio drivers for Windows:
http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/virtio-win/latest/images/bin/virtio-win-0.1-15.iso
I'm very confused by the release numeration, since:
Fedora14 has: virtio-win-1.1.16.iso
Fedora15 has: virtio-win-0.1-mm34.iso
"latest" has: virtio-win-0.1-15.iso
Any clue? Are them going backward?
Also I can't understand the difference in XP and WXp directories in the iso.
If someone that tests these drivers can report about stability/performance, and/or can enlighten me about the release number and XP dir mistery, I apreciate a lot.
Best regards
Marco Menardi

I already updated some win2008r2 (64) boxes, no issues so far. here are the screenshots from the device manager (virtio-win-0.1-15.iso from the Fedora project).

Do you know where are the drivers for win2003 and win2008 ?

I see:

Wxp : xp 32 bit drivers (viostor,balloon,vioser)
Wlh : ?
Wnet : ?
Win7 : win7 32/64 bit drivers
XP : -> virtio network driver XP 32/64 bit
Vista : vista 32/64 bit drivers

can´t you use xp driver for win2003?

win2008. you mean 2008 or 2008r2?
for 2008r2 you can use win7 (storage) and the drivers from vista virtio-net.

if you tell which one you miss exaclty I can do some testing here, just tell exactly which version of windows do you run, include the service pack level and the architecture.
