Feature request: maintenance mode and/or DRS

I feel like these are the only things Proxmox really is missing at this point. I have several VMs configured to be highly available, but without disabling the HA settings for each VMs that default to a host I need to maintain, it is really hard to maintain a host properly. Also, if Proxmox could migrate VMs away from an over-utilized host automatically, this would be very nice. I noticed maintenance mode is no longer on the roadmap, and that was very disappointing to find out.

Any Proxmox people have any information about these potential features?

I assume you will find already similar requests, so this is no lost and well known here.

you can accomplish this functionality using HA groups. All you do is remove a node from the respective HA group and all containers assigned to said group will migrate to other available nodes.

We use HA groups to balance VMs properly (based on resource requirements). I want to be able to right click a node and say "don't use this". In the background it may do exactly as you say, but I don't want to have to make changes to our HA groups whenever I need to do some maintenance to a node, I'd like proxmox to handle that for me so I don't make some mistake.

This is one obvious feature that's missing from PVE (we love PVE by the way, just wish it had this). We do not want to start maintenance on a node until we know it's not running any workloads. We've ended up writing our own scripts to manage this but it's a clunky solution. All we want is a manual way to tell the HA to migrate all workloads of a node as it would if we rebooted the box. Then we do our work on the node, then we tell PVE to start using the node again and the workloads migrate back. This has been talked about for many years and I just can't see why it's still a missing feature.
