I think it would be cool if there was a backup option that would allow (or not allow) backup based on tags similar to the Include selected VM's/ Exclude Selected VM's options. That way you could control backups based on adding/removing tags to various containers. Granted this may require some centralized tag management in the Datacenter portion of the UI which may stop the ability of adding freeform tags to containers (or every "new" freeform tag would get added to the Datacenter List but have a dropdown of existing tags when adding a tag).
