Take a look at: https://manpages.debian.org/buster/afuse/afuse.1.en.html or https://manpages.debian.org/buster/autofs/autofs.8.en.html and then mount as DIrectory in PVE. If that wouldn't make it work, then I'd say get some support for the RPi. PS. What happens if you disable the storage in GUI, then reboot the Pi, then enable it again? Will it work?
