Error migrating VM from one Proxmox Server to another server

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to use the online migration feature of the Proxmox Datacenter Manager.

The VM is currently using a ZFS pool in server one and trying to change that to nfs in server two, but got this error:

2025-09-03 06:56:17 ERROR: online migrate failure - failed to write forwarding command - Insecure dependency in unlink while running with -T switch at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Tunnel.pm line 214, <GEN6283> line 5.

The servers are using different versions (8.0.3 and 8.4.1), if this matters.

Q: What Proxmox VE version is supported?
A: The minimum required Proxmox VE version is 8.3. During the alpha phase, we will only support the latest Proxmox VE version and encourage frequent upgrades of both PDM and PVE as new features are often developed in lockstep.
