enhanced IO limits for VM´s & more Ideas

there are now disk IO limits and also network IO limits, configurable via GUI (KVM only).

openvswitch has advantages and disadvantages, also the OpenVZ integration is not that clear.
 
I do not really see the advantage of using vswitch here. AFAIK they simply use tc for traffic shaping.

Anyways, it should be easy to implement tc for openvz. Someone just needs to do it.

Do you have the intention to add tc for traffic shaping as part of Proxmox GUI?
what about the Disk I/O Priority for Openvz, it will be part of Proxmox GUI?

this means currently no one is working on this as it seems its on low priority. otherwise the opposite would be true.
