Hi,

I would also like to enable HTTP access to proxmox 4.1. How can I do it please?

I want to enable it along with HTTPS. The reason is because my HAProxy configuration requires unsecured connection internally. I will be using SSL to connect to it (but through haproxy).

In case the haproxy is down I will still access proxmox through the https access.

How can I do it?

I can not because of my configuration the only way to do it to sent internally the traffic encrypted. I understand the risk and I will never access the proxmox though http outside haproxy I really need to enable it...

If enabling both is no possible it is possible to disable https access and keep only http access?

Maybe not the answer you're looking for but, yes it's possible: Proxmox is open source and you can change it as you like. There is not other way than changing the source-code.

This is not a supported configuration, so there is no easy way to set this.

this is the opposite of improving security - PVE already logs failed auth attempts, so you can use fail2ban or similar tools..
