Email notifications when running Backup process manually

hi,
Is it an expected behavior in Proxmox to not send email notifications when a backup process is manually triggered? I have an email address in the backup schedule entry and it is set to send notfns "always". I know for a fact that I do get email notfns when the backup process runs on schedule.

any thoughts ?

Hi,
please share the output of pveversion -v and cat /etc/pve/jobs.cfg (which job is it?). When you say manually, you mean with the Run Now button in the web UI?
