Is there an easier way for dumb people and non linux experts to manage drives? Any plans for a GUI tool?

The installer configures storage in a good way, including ZFS raid if needed, also the storage plugins are created.
The "Disks" GUI already exists and will be improved step by step. Currently, you can create/manage disks for Ceph storage, display/query smart status. More will come.

Could you elaborate on the term "manage"? What do you want to achieve or what problem needs to be solved?
