Hello,

how can download from CLI of Proxmox PVE an specific folder of backup inside the remote ProxmoxBackupServer?

Thanks

Best Regards

Hello,

thanks for your reply, seems to be works only for .pxar

In my ProxmoxBackupServer, I have this files inside the VM backup:

client.log.blob
drive-scsi0.img.fidx
index.json.blob
qemu-server.conf.blob

The data is inside drive-scsi0.img.fidx

How can I open it from CLI?

proxmox-backup-client map should work

if you want a convenient way to access such backups (for common scenarios), you can try PVE's "file restore" feature. it will spawn a custom linux VM that mounts the backup and provides on-demand access to the contained file systems and files.

Hello

sometimes, "file restore" GUI, gone in timeout for this reason I asked to access to the same backup from CLI.

The solution of MAP, works fine.

Thanks

"proxmox-file-restore" is the corresponding CLI tool (it also does the same VM spawning for .fidx backups).
