Right now I'm running this in userland w/qemu-system-ppc in the following fashion: https://asciinema.org/a/223107 for the purpose of Quark XPress 4.11 Passport only with the help from qemu-system-ppc from the brew repository utilizing an iMac for host.

There is currently no method available to run other architectures as a QEMU VM directly from the GUI. I could think of some hack to run the ppc version instead of the standard one, but not in a viable patch-resistent version.

When I'm confronted with such a situation, I just do an VM-inciption and run a hypervisor/VM inside of PVE, so I'd go with a standard Debian VM and run your commands inside of this guest to get a runnable MacOS Classic.
