Hi all,

I need to configure DKIM on proxmox 6.1-5 and I don't have much idea on how to do it.

I have seen the options available in the GUI, but I do not understand.

Any tutorial or guide to configure DKIM?

regards

Thank you for the info Tom,

I have configured proxmox with dkim, created the selector and configured the TXT record in my DNS with the public key for DKIM. DKIM tests are externally correct, the TXT register is well configured.

The problem is that in Proxmox, the outgoing mail signature is activated (enable dkim signing and sign all outgoing mail), but when I send any mail, the DKIM signature does not work, it does not include any signature in the mail headers.

I have checked the configuration and it is correct in proxmox, I have also restarted the server, and everything remains the same.

Any idea why the DKIM signature doesn't work?

Mail is only signed if it is received on PMGs internal port - maybe that's the issue
else please post the (anonymized) headers + log of such a mail

Mail is being sent from an internal exchange 2016 server to proxmox through port 26.

the problem is in the firewall that in addition to adding custom headers, I was removing the DKIM signature on outgoing emails.

Once the DKIM signature is allowed in the firewall and the option to add your own headers is disabled, the email is already signed without problems.

Thank you.
