I have a set of 300GB SAS disks on HW Raid 1.
The (fresh) installation (v3.0-20) shows the disk as:

Capacity: 250GB
Available: 237.23GB
(This is with no VMs or CT installed.)

The partitions were as follows:

PART /boot ext3 512M
PART lvm vg0 all
LV vg0 root / ext3 20G
LV vg0 swap swap swap 6G
LV vg0 data /vz ext3 252G

Are the values correct or I am loosing GBs somewhere?

Your comments on current partition sizes are also welcome!
Thank you

Hi,
no - you are loosing nothing.
300GB is marketing speak (300*1000*1000 < 300*1024*1024).
And there is some free space in the Vg for shapshots.

Look with
Code:
vgs
lvs
Or vgdisplay and lvdisplay for longer output.
