Hi all
I have setup my first ZFS Proxmox install on 2 Test Servers.
A couple of old Dell beasts.
They each have 4 X 136Gb SAS Drives.
Only 6GB ram at the moment.
I have installed PM5.1 on both and that is where I am up to at the moment.
I have not installed any VM's yet and I have not formatted the 3 other drives in each system.
I have to read up on my ZFS for dummies.
The IP address for the Servers.
Srv01=10.0.0.19
Srv02=10.0.0.18
Both have internet access and I have run
apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade, on each.
I am wanting to direct connect the two via the second NIC on each Server.
What is the best settings to do this please?
And, I am assuming I then use the IP's I give these Nics when creating a Cluster.
Any assistance gratefully accepted...

ZFS will need minimum 4 GB( 8 GB are recommended) + 1GB for each used TB disk space.

I am wanting to direct connect the two via the second NIC on each Server.
Yes you can do this.
Just connect the two nodes and set up the second nic in the GUI on each node with a ip address.
