Hi.
I installed PVE 1.6 on a Dell PowerEdge R510 with PERC H700 storage controller.
On another similar system all worked good (R510 with PERC H700), but on this one I get the following error when PVE tries to boot:

Code:
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
  - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
    - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
    - Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?)
  - Missing modules (cat /dev/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/mapper/pve-root does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

And then the console gets me to the initramfs console.

Do you have any hints?

Hello.

I have just had this happen to me on a Proxmox 2 beta install after I did a apt-get dist-upgrade and upgraded the system and rebooted it.

Is there a fix?
