Hey Folks,

Running PMG 8.0.3, fresh install, using to block some specific spam emails, I think it's working as expected, been running for a couple of weeks now, seeing stats of XX incoming, XX blocked/spam, etc... But I would like to see the meta data on what is coming in, from where/who, what is actually being blocked. Is there a mechanism I can enable to collect and parse out this info, maybe from mail.log, I'm not seeing anything in the GUI or docs to accomplish this.

Ultimately, I'd like to capture the email headers From: To: IP info and reason for block/drop.

Thanks.

JR

In the GUI, using Administration, Tracking I can see some emails but not all emails so still looking for a better way to see complete list of all email coming into the system and actions taken.

The tracking center should show all logs. Check your filters.

(the tracking center is a front-end to the relevant logs on /var/log/..)

Hi Tom,

I guess what's missing in tracking is the Blocked/Rejected/Junk emails, and that's really what I was interested in. Where my Status Report for past 24 hours shows 11 Incoming mails, 10 Junk, 1 Bounce, the Tracking only shows 2 mails in the same time period so missing 9 blocked/rejected in tracking list. I do have Include Emty Senders and Greylist selected.

Thanks.

Blocked/Rejected/Junk emails logs should be visible. If not, there is something wrong with your installation.
