Debian Version

In what version of debian is version 1.9??? I have a adaptec 6805 and needs minimun Debian 5.0.9 to run. Hope the version of debian is later than this one. Thanks in advance for the response.

This depends on the kernel, not the debian version. Our kernel supports this card. (2.6.32-6)

Tom sorry for asking this, but are you sure about this, I install proxmox 1.9 with this card and no luck with it, just do not recognize the card. I called adaptec and they say it is supported on the kernel 2.6.39. Please let me know if you are certain of this card.

yes, it works here. I just tested with the ISO image 1.9-6542-7. also 2.0 beta works.

I am using firmware 18301, latest.
