[SOLVED] CPU Affinity greyed out

How to enable the CPU affinity feature in 7.3? It is greyed out in the CPU settings. Is it missing some package to be installed? The manpage does not say anything about further requirements.

Only the root user can change CPU affinity, since it requires root privileges.

what user are log into as? CPU Affinity can only be modified by "root@pam".
