[SOLVED] copy paste keys commands for ct kvm vnc console

You cannot paste into a terminal directly without installing some os tweaks for the KVM part. This doesn't work in windows either - without os tools, no integration.

so there is no possibility to paste "keyboard inputs" - especially regarding the pre-boot luks decryption time?

You can use the monitor command sendkey for this, but normally you'd ssh into the initrd and decrypt from there. You need a special prepared initrd for this, yet it is possible.

thanks for that hint - but how to send an "=" this doesn't work out here - other simple keys like "1" work very well...

thanks for the hints - we got around the "not able to use "="" problem by switching the keyboard AND using spice as the vnc viewer....
