Ladies/Gentlemen,
I recently upgraded my home media server from Proxmox 8 to version 9, following the instructions on the wiki.
Since I originally installed PVE in Legacy MBR mode, I’m wondering if it’s possible to convert the host system disk to a more modern UEFI GPT mode without data loss, or if this would rather require a full reinstall.
If it’s the latter, how would you recommend doing it in a way that preserves as many settings as possible?
At the moment I’m running one VM and three LXC containers. I can do without them for a while, but of course it would be great if I didn’t have to start everything again from scratch.
Thank you.
