Hello Everyone,
i started a few days ago with proxmox running a FreeNAS vm with pci passtrough an LSI controller on a proxmox node. because it was also recommendet on the freenas site

i created then an zfs raidz1 and storage pool under freenas and started to migrate all my files to that pool from my old server...

i realised now that it would be way better for ressource managment to let manage proxmox all the zfs handling and mount a shared zfs storage pool via nfs (?) to the different needed vms or LXCs?

hopefully my assumptions are correct i got several questions related to that:

1. is ist possible to convert the zfs raidz1, i created under freenas into proxmox without data loss?
2. is nfs realy the best sharing solution or are there other ways to archive what i want?

thanks for any advice ;)
