Hello everyone,

I build a little Server to do easyly some Backups. Installation of PBS worked fine and it is up and running.:) I can reach the Webinterface correctly.

My Plan is to place this server at the house of my mother-in-law. So I installed OpenVPN and configured it.
So I moved the PBS out of my Homenetwork and PBS connects via OpenVPN.
When I'm using the VPN I can not connect to PBS's Webinterface, but a Connection via SSH is working fine. On Wireshark I can see, TCP-Connect ist working, but after the HTTP-GET the connection is Reset by PBS.
Has someone an Idea for my Problem? Or do you need more infos?

Best regards
Carsten

Hi,

how do you access PBS? Are you sure that you included the "https" and port? If that's not it, can you check what happens if you connect with the following ssh command ssh $user@$host -p $port -L 8007:localhost:8007, where $user, $host and $port are the usual username, hostname and port you use to connect to your PBS. After that you should be able to reach the web interface under https://localhost:8007, because -L 8007:localhost:8007 will forward the local port 8007 to PBS using SSH.

Hello,

thanks for the reply. I controlled the input to Browsers URL and there was the Problem. I forgot the "https".

Best regards
Carsten
