Connect UPS APC Smart 3000 on Promox 7.1 host

Dear, friend I`m very new using promox and today I wan to install my server to a APC Stmart 3000 UPS via serial port, I would like to know if exist a software that I can install into the promox host in order to do a save shutdown when a power outage happend.

In the past I used NUTS into SME server 7.4

Hi,
proxmox is based on debian - so you can install a lot of software (btw, it makes no sense to install a lot of sw on the host).
Have you tried something of this:
apcupsd - APC UPS Power Management (daemon)
nut - The core system of the nut - Network UPS Tools
powstatd - Configurable UPS monitoring daemon
upsd - UPS Monitor Program via serial interface

(apt-get install is your friend)
