Configuring Proxmox HA

Hello All,

I am new to proxmox. I need to know how I can configure HA clusters. I am trying to setup cluster using two normal desktop PC and one NFS share. I am little bit confused about the IPMI. I have seen a software called open IPMI.Can we configure the cluster using OpenIPMI?. The following are my hardware list.

Node1

Dell Optiplex 755 (8GB,500GB,C2DUO)
Realtek Lan Card
IP:192.168.1.197

Node2
Dell Optiplex 755 (Same Config as node 1)
Realtek Lan card
IP:192.168.1.198

NFS share :192.168.1.6/VMS

I am not clear about this fencing devices. Is this a hardware ,that I have to purchase? I do have only a little knowledge in clusters.
Is it possible to configure the HA using these setup? It will be great if any one can help me in this.

Hai Tom,

Thx for the replay. I have gone through that and I am struck with fencing. Is this a separate HW device which I have to buy?
