Hello everyone, I have spent days researching other threads, reddit posts, even asking AI on what is happening. Unfortunately it has come to having to bother the professionals.
I am running Proxmox VE 8.3-1 on an old computer of mine. The specifications on the computer are
CPU - Ryzen 5 1600
Memory - 2x 8GB G.Skill 3200 DDR4
- 2x 16GB Teamgroup 3000 DDR4
GPU - GTX 1070
As the title states, once the interface for the VE is on it is essentially a ticking time bomb. I spent 3 hours straight working on a LXC with no crashes. Once I went to bed and came back everything was frozen ( this happens every day when I come back to the office ). I have my server computer displaying to a monitor and the flashing input to log in is no longer flashing. No additional lights appear on my motherboard.
This computer was once my main computer which had no issues, but I have since upgraded and made this my new server.
I have ran Memtest86 for a day with no failures.
I have tried reinstalling Proxmox VE.
I cannot seem to find any logs other than ones created on boot, with nothing prior in them.
Some of the logs suggested here simply do not exist for me.
Any further advice would be appreciated. Thank you
